On 7 October 2022 I had the honor to give a lightning talk on Full Stack Europe 2022 about PHPMD. The title was: Prevent a mess with PHP Mess Detector. And the slides are here below.

How it was to give a talk
For me it was the first time that I spoke on a conference. The talk was a lightning talk with a limit of 4 minutes so that was very short. To be honest, shortly for the presentation I though: why do I do this? But looking back it was a nice experience and I hope the attendees learned something from it.
The organization from Full Stack Europe is very good. They required me to deliver the slides so that they could place it on a laptop that they prepared for the stage. But they also reviewed my slides and give a tip for the readability. The communication was good and clear. I can't compare it myself but during the speakers diner other speakers confirmed that the organization indeed did a very good job.
The conference
Full Stack Europe was for me the first conference with a single track. It had a nice mix of different presentation and feels very good. So I will definitely recommend it to other people.
Before the main conference I follow the workshop DDD Modelling vs Implementation by Mathias Verraes. This was a nice workshop where I learned a lot.
Conclusion
In conclusion Full Stack Europe 2022 was for me a great experience where I learned a lot. And I'm happy with the honor to give a lightning talk. I recommend it for anyone who has any interest in full stack development.
